Objectives
- Support the social and economic empowerment of marginalised, disadvantaged and poor community groups;
- Optimise local resources and services to promote the development of renewable energy and rural infrastructure to enhance the rural population’s livelihood;
- Promote rural economies by developing skills, income and employability orientated initiatives;
- Assist communities in conflict transformation, peace building and the promotion of human rights and security;
- Social transformation through formal and informal education;
- Assist communities in preventive and curative health care systems, focusing on women and children;
- Commercialization of subsistence agriculture system to enhance sustainable production through bio-intensive farming and conservation of local genetic resources;
- Capacity building, research and study on development initiatives in partnership with governmental, non governmental and private sectors;
