Brief description of results (supported by smart indicators) achieved of the project:
The project follows the community mobilization guidelines prepared by REDP viz six basic principle (i) organizational development (ii) capital mobilization (iii) skill development (iv) technology promotion (v) environment management and (vi) women empowerment. The community development activities aim to cover the marginalized and ethnic minorities. The technology promotion covers the micro-hydro plant establishment, drinking water supply management and rural irrigation systems managed by small farmers.
REMREC as the solely responsible support organization, provided services for formation of Community Organizations (COs), post-formation support, training and extension activities and mobilize local people and rural infrastructure development i.e. rural water supply, micro hydro plant install and small irrigation system management. · Formation of CBOs and post formation support · Formation of Community Organizations (COs) · Institutional Management Training · Farmers managed small and micro irrigation · Income generation activities: · Training on various sectors income generation basically on agriculture promotion · Drinking water supply management
