Type and narrative description of services provided:

Promotion of micro-hydro power, solar water lifting for multiple use (drinking & micro-irrigation), improved water mill, ICS, invigorate rural livelihood through establishment of enterprises, mainstream gender equality and social inclusion in promoting RETs, integrate RETs in clean development mechanism.

 

Brief description of results (supported by smart indicators) achieved of the project:

·         1016.12 KW electricity was generated through 18 Micro-Hydro Power Plants in 9 districts and 36  Peltric Sets Projects, and electrified to 6201 Households;

·         Installation of 13 Solar water lifting schemes for multiple use of water (Water Supply  & Irrigation);

·         Established 217 micro/small enterprises and created 385 income generation activities ;

·         Installed 22321 Improved cook stoves in 9 working districts;

·         195 No of Improved Water Mills (IWM) installed in five working districts.
